            Who is the Dancin' Writer? The Dancin Writer is F.R. Riggs; a fearfully and  wonderfully made woman of God.  Honoring her God given ability to write creatively, and minister in dance, F.R.Riggs, developed  her "brand" and pushes it to be noticed by all. 
            Understanding and giving reverance to the One and Only GOD from which all things come from, The Dancin' Writer has become an imprint in not only the church, but to the secular world too, bringing with her the proof that God is STILL in the blessing business. 
            Although many have come and requested her to use her gifts of dance and writing to advance secular sectors, F.R.Riggs declined all opportunities saying "My gift is FROM God. I believe when I use it to Glorify Him, and for the advancement of the Kingdom? It's a gift TO Him. I feel that is the very LEAST I could do, because it is of no goodness of my own that He decided to give me these gifts. Gifts come without repentance, so He could bless anyone he wants to with anything He wants to and STILL be God! Im thankful I have TWO! Having two gifts, I have to be like that servant in the bible who was giving five talents. Instead of burying his talent, and saving it, he multiplied his talents and His master was pleased! I want GOD t obe lpeased with what I am doing with my gifts and talents!"
          The imprint can be seen IN the world, but will not be OF the world! 

           With  enjoying the blessings of God comes responsiblity; to whom much is given, of them, much is required.  F.R. Riggs has encountered what some might have considered road blocks had faith not been the conerstone of her dream. 

           One major challenge has been being  questioned  as to why she chose to be called a 'Christian' Fiction writer, being told to change her title to "faith-based". Her writing skills are faith based, but she had no problem letting the world know exactly what FAITH it is!

         With a determined spirit, the brand 'DANCIN'WRITER' has become a bold focal point for others to see. To realize that compromise is NOT an option when you are representing God and the gifts He has entrusted you with. 

         F.R.Riggs has not been deterred. With some crossed looks even at 'choroegraphed' dancing in the church, the dropped jaws and waving fingers have done nothing but catapult her further in her persistent desire to bring her 'brand' ALIVE!

         Her talents were giving to her because God knew she would develop them into a MEGA BRAND! She is turning her 'five talents into ten'! 

        It is difficult for the mind set of some deep Christians to really put aside the troubles of this world, and enjoy not only the seriousness of life in Christ, but the laughter, the entertainment, the fun. The Dancin'Writer wants people to understand that life in Christ is  daily.  Everyday situations, family life, work life, social life, all of these ideals are alive and well even in Christians. 

        It is untrue and perhaps even unfair to think that only music can truly express and be an example of a Christian lifestyle. 

         F.R.Riggs is determined to advance the entertainment and enjoyment of living as a Christian. "We buy books, we go to movies, we watch television. Somewhere, someone is sitting right now trying to figure out how they can distract us further from our goal in Christ with entertainment. Secular airwaves, broadway shows, movies, newsprints, everything and anything without a message of Christ? We need to take it back! There are so many talented artists and CEO's with the power of the pen to make it happen!  To draw others in. My job, as the DancinWriter is to provide all those things IN God. To write a book that you can enjoy but still leave a message. I can dance skillfully, I have been trained, but the use of my limbs are ALL to the Glory of God. To pull people in with that visual ministry. It is so important that in every endeavor I make God proud of me. I want Him to look at me and smile. So many people are talented, AND gifted and acknowledge that God has given them their gift, but won't do anything FOR His people with their gift. They want the money, the fame and will compromise anything to get it. I am a Christian who seeks to provide books, plays, maybe even one day movies....that the world can call "Faith-Based" if they want to. It doesnt matter. The Dancin'Writer has a job to do and that's to make the brand as BIG as God intends for it to be! He wants me to be successful. His word says so. I'm even going to get t-shirts made...something like "Dancin'Writer Name Brand, What Brand Do YOU wear"  

            With confidence in tote, F.R.Riggs knows that God has anointed her pen AND her ballet shoes.  Not only are readers enjoying her fictitious accounts of life in the Black church in front AND behind the pulpit, her Bishop, Grammy Award winning  Bishop Hezekiah Walker cosigns on her ministry in dance "Francys is definitely gifted and anointed to praise dance. The people of God are blessed every time they see her. I am proud that she is honoring God with her gifts." 

        It is clear that the Dancin' Writer is headed in the right direction....upward!
